For this day- the pick up at your hotel will be at 8,00am- to be back here around 6,00pm.
Once there – cars are no longer allowed, and, to reach each of the picturesque villages, we will use the local ferry boat- this is the reason, why we propose the tour in 2 different ways:
Fully escorted tour:
Once at the first town,we meet our local tour guide who will be with you in the day along the superb natural marine park, to show you the most important things and to be of help with ferries etc,-
From Riomaggiore, after have seen its marina, and, the old part of this old village of Fishers, we move to Manarola using the ferry boat.
In Manarola, time to stroll around, and we have the next ferry to Vernazza, on the way there, Corniglia, one of the 5 lands, provides us its best from the boat, as the town built over the mountain has no port, but the best picturesque photos are from the boat. Vernazza, the little one, where the Church of Santa Maria di Antiochia, is the highlight of the town, built here in the early 1300 – over the rocks of the Mediterranean. The next ferry- is to Monterosso, the larger of the 5s. divided in 2- the historical centre, and the newer part where are hotels,
In its centre you will have your time to stroll around the little narrow streets, having a nice lunch in one of the local trattorias, some wine tasting in a nice little cellar wine shop, or just relax to the beach before to get back, by train with your guide to the first town where car is.
Not escorted tour
At the first of the lands, Riomaggiore, you will be provided of all informations necessary to visit on your own those little towns, things to do and to see, how the get ferries etc. You will independetly explore all the picturesque villages.
We will meet you again in the afternoon to the last town Monterosso, to drive you back to Florence.
(at 5 Terre we do not the hiking paths- the walk is easy but the day tour is suggested too Clients they have no walking difficulties- otherwise the day as to be arranged differently)
An opportunity we have, in the not escorted tour- is after we have picked you up in Monterosso – to drive to Pisa – and- stop to the Leaning Tower, and, its miracle square-
A last information you need to know in advance, is that at the 5 Terre you will have an extra fee to pay for the ferry boat, € 18,00pp.
The best cost of this exclusively tour will proposed once we know if from Florence or from other part of Tuscany as costs are changing in regard of the distances.
